I use WMP 9 Series to create CD-R/CD-RW burned media on my
desktop PC to play in other CD players. That CD that I
burned plays on my Desktop PC and my Laptop using WMP 9
Series. I get a "No CD in slot." message from a Pioneer
and a JVC CD player in my automobiles.
Is the burned CD missing info to identify it to the
Pioneer and JVC CD players in my automobiles ?
Am I supposed to add the missing "stuff" for recognition
to the burned CD ?

Perhaps someone will explain what identifies the burned
media as an audio CD to the laptop and PC which allows the
burned CD to be played using WMP, but the same CD is not
identified and recognized by CD players in the automobile ?

Based on the info that came with the JVC CD Changer my
model will not play CD-R/CD-RW burned media. Can info be
added to the CD to overcome this problem ?

Car CD players don't always read CD-R's or CD-RW's. You will need to check
the docs that came with them. If they can't, then there is nothing you can
do apart from buying in-car CD players that read those two formats.

BTW, you did remember to finalise the CD's you burned ?

Cheers,
Jerry
