CD problem and Clock

Every time I turn on my computer my one of my CD-roms
isn't recongized. I have 2 cds players one which is the
master cdr/dvd (combo) and the other one is a cd-rom
(slave).
My windows only sees the cd-rom, however if I go to device
manager and click on scan for hardware changes, it finds
my combo? Does anyone knows how to fix it.

My second problem is with my clock, I set to the right
time and after 20 minutes its drops 10 minutes

use to keep the system clock correct:

You will need an internet connection for it to work,
