Can anyone recommend a good inkjet printer for CD's?

I was looking at the Epson 900, but the reviews I read stated that it
is very dificult to properly align the CD in the holder. Obviously a
misaligned disk means a wasted disk.

I'd very much appreciate your comments and suggestions.

Thanks!

Look at the Epson R300 or R300M..

I have used that model with no problems. There is also the R300 and 500
that also print on CD's.

I use a 900 quite often to print CD/DVDs, and it is very easy to use.
Alignment is never a problem, provided you always make sure the
left-hand (facing the printer front) guide in back is pushed up
against the carrier before starting, and the front of the guide is
aligned with the marks as indicated in the instructions. Sometimes I
wonder about these reviewers and how much effort they take in learning
how to use their reviewed products.

Print quality is another matter. For one thing, you are restricted to
printing on dull-surfaced inkjet-compatible media, and the results are
rather dull in comparison to a commercial CD. Results are downright
poor when printing on silver-topped inkjet-printable media. Print
resolution is high, however, and a lot of information can be included
in the label.

The R300 has a setting for the CD/DVD Premium surface , and no problems
with miss alignment, the tray loads from the front...
