CD not recognized

My CD Rom is not being detected but it does appears in BIOS however.
With this PC I dual boot with Win2K where it is recognized. This problem just seemed
to come out of nowhere as it was previously detected. Each time I try to use add/remove
hardware wizard I receive a notification that the "Drivers for CD Installed, but Windows
does not detect hardware".

Can anyone HELP!!!!

Right click on my computer, select Manage. In the left pane of the
management window select Disk Management. Check the right pane to see if the
cd has just lost its drive letter.
