Anyone know what weight the paper/card is in the front/back covers of
a CD jewel case?

It's not standard. Various manufacturers use differing weights. I've
even used standard 24 lb. print stock to make B&W inserts on a laser
printer.

Just make sure your printer can handle whatever you choose.

Try something around 190-200 gram/sq meter
