After copying photos to a Cd or a Dvd from My Picyures files,I can not get
the tray door to open by using the release button or Eject command in my
Computer.I get a message saying "Explorer or another program is currently
copying or accessing the files on the Cd".The task Mgr does not show any
active programs and there is no light on,on the tray,in order to open the
tray I have to reboot. Can someone point me in the right direction .

Straighten out a paper-clip, insert it in the small hole, the drawer will open. Can
you click eject in Explorer? Open "My Computer", right-click the CD drive, click
eject.

I've tried that,I have to reboot after opening with the paper clip, and using
eject in "MY Computer" does not work.

I would also check the program you are using to generate the CD or DVD.
Sometimes they will stop they ability to open the tray on the writer. Just a
thought.
