cd/dvd refressing

When I change a cd or dvd in the internal (from ASUS laptop) or external
(Philips USB dvdrw), the disk are not refressing.
Under explorer, my computer etc. it show the content of the cd/dvd that WAS
in the dvdrw's.

I have 2 burn programs, NERO 7 and Alcohol 120% (build 6221), they have
always work together without any problems.

How can I resolve this
 
Locate and click the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Protected Storage System Provider On
the Edit menu, click Permissions . Click the registry key for the user that
is currently logged on and ensure that Read and Full Control are both set to
Allow . Click the Advanced button, ensure that the user that is currently
logged on is selected, that Full Control is listed in the Permissions
column, and that This Key and Subkeys is listed in the Apply to column.
Click to select the Replace permission entries on all child objects with
entries shown here that apply to child objects check box. Click Apply , and
then click Yes when you receive a prompt to continue. Click OK , and then
click OK again

Thank you Mark,

But after the sentence 'this key ans subkeys is listed in the Apply to
column', I do not understand the meaning of "child" objects.
I am dutch, so I think that my translation makes it difficult to understand.

Can you specify more, witch screendumps to my hotmail account for instance?
