I'm not sure when it started but it will not play certain CDs now.
Some it will play.
But it will not load for installation certain Microsoft product CDs
such as Microsoft PictureIt or Visual Studio 2008. Also, a CD with a
simple PDF file would not load.
Other CDs such as a samsung printer CD that contains printer drivers,
manual, etc. will auto play and INcd formatted CDs will open.
I tried this solution here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314060#moreinfo
which is to go into device mgr and uninstall the cd/dvd and then let
it detect the drivers on reboot. But that did not help.
