CD/DVD drive refresh

This isn't a major issue but it's annoying.

In 'my computer' my CD and DVD drives don't refresh when
I've changed CDs. They always show whatever I had in
there when I started up. Obviously I've tried refreshing
manually. The contents are what they are supposed to be,
but it gives the wrong icon and autorun and thinks it's
the incorrect type of disc. Any ideas? Both are running
w/ default windows drivers.

Disk manager shows the correct disc, as do burning progs,
etc. It's just windows that is being stupid.

in "my-computer" right-click on the cd-drive icon, click
on "sharing and security" then "autoplay" then "check" the
"prompt me each time to choose an action" function.
