Steve

I have 1 Cd-Rw, 1 DVD+RW, and 1 DVD-rom player all hooked
to the same computer via the 2 IDE channels. My operating
system (XP Home) is on a mirrored Raid array. The raid
controller is on the mother board (not a separate card).
None of the cd/dvd drives will autoplay a disk. Also if a
disk happens to be in any of the drives when booting up
the computer, the volume name of the disk will remain
in "My computer" even when the disk has been removed and
even after trying to refresh. If I insert a different
disk into this same drive, the volume name doesn't
change. In fact sometimes if you dbl click on the drive,
you will see the contents of the previous disk. I have
used these 3 drives together for quite sometime and have
had not probs. before. I have tried to use each drive
separately and the problem continues. This problem
started immediately after a fresh install of XP on a
clean formated drive. One more detail... when I start
iTunes, I get a warning screen that tells me that AutoRun
is turned off. Help Please!

Thank you! Steve
