cd drive

i've tried to use several cd-rom discs, but my formerly cd-rw/dvd drive only
plays dvd movies now. Can someone please help me.
 
Start/My Computer/rightclick your CD-Rom/DVD drive/Properties/AutoPlay tab. Select the action you want to take and below that select the format/application you want to use.
