Insert an small, unbent paper clip into the little hole on the bottom
right side of the drive. Push the paper clip into the hole until you feel
it pressing against the catch inside the drive. This should open the drive.
There are a couple things: First, Take the casing off
the compuer and make sure the power supply and cable are
connected tightly to the cd drive. If so, Did you leave a
disk inside that may stuck? If not, there is a small
plastic ring that connects to the bottom on the tray that
opens and closes the cd drive. This may have come off or
broke. If it came off it won't be easy but it can be put
back on. If it broke, you'll probably need a new cd
drive. That happened to a friend of mine.
I have a few suggestions. First, take the casing off the
computer and make sure the power supply and the cable are
secure to the cd drive. Second, Did you leave a disk in
there that might be stuck? Third, there is a small plastic
ring that is on the bottom part of the door that opens and
closes the drive. If it came off, it might be able to be
put back on, if it broke you might need a new drive. I
hope these suggestions can help.
