cd drive opening by itself

Everytime I boot, the CD drive opens all by itself. This
happens many times, even after I login. It stops soon
after login. It's REALLY annoying...
I have ALL the latest patches and updates and service
packs.
My virus scanner is up to date and I scan often.
Spybot has detected no spyware.
Yes, my drivers for all hardware are up to date. I have
not installed any new hardware or software at the time
this behavior started happening.

Any ideas?
 
Hello

Try replacing the cdrom , give that a try see what happens
can't hurt anything, maybe the cdrom drive is intermitting
