I just produced a 10-minute Powerpoint 2002 (XP)
presentation as a gift for my 1-year-old twin newphews.
(It's their first year in review.)

Now I want to distribute the presentation on a CD to my
nephews and relatives but I am having trouble getting the
three songs that I have selected from three different
music CDs to play automatically throughout my slide show
FROM THE CDs that I have BURNED.

*The music plays fine when I play the presentation from
my computer hard drive.

Here's what I have done so far.

The CDs I have burned currently contain the PowerPoint
presentation and my three music selections as wma files.

Prior to putting the presentation on the CD, I went
throught the ppt 'Pack and Go' wizard and successfully
downloaded the appropriate Powerpoint viewer, opted to
include the fonts and linked files as prompted by the
wizard.

I also converted each of the 3 music tracks into its own
wma file and burned them onto the CD along with my
presentation.

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks.

Shelly

I'd put the WMA files in the same folder with the PPT presentation,
delete the WMAs out of the presentation as it is now, then reinsert the
WMAs from their new location.

Then I'd use the instructions on the autorun CD page of my site (URL's
in signature) to create the autorun CD.

I find Pack and Go pretty iffy, although thee are some who swear by it.
I think it's safer to put the linked multimedia files in the folder with
the PPT presentation *before* linking them. That creates appropriate
links which shouldn't break when the stuff is all burned to the CD.
