Hello

I have about 200 Cd-roms with a lot of software and documents.
To search for something is very difficult.
I'm looking after a software to can classify this "library" and to be
searchable to can find it when I'm looking after a piece of software
or document.

Anybody can advice me a software to can do my work?

Thanks in advance

I've posted one on my web site (see link in sig)

Yes, I know, it's a shameless way to advertise my site but what can I say.

Some good choices on the Pricelessware List:

Try Visual CD.

Visual CD is a disk cataloging tool to index CD/DVDs, floppy disks,
hard disks, and even folders. You can then explore the disk catalogs,
search files and folders, create MP3 playlist file without having the
physical disks in the drive. Upon insertion of the corresponding disk,
you can open files, split files into smaller pieces, extract ZIP, RAR,
and CAB archive, and more.

Download it from: http://boozet.xepher.net/viscd/index.htm

Good luck,

I use a dinky batchfile to dump the listings to a directory, then use
grep to find particular strings:
<http://www.mousetrap.net/~mouse/otr/collecting.html> , particularly
the section on Organizing a Collection.
