According to "Windows Media" (I have Windows XP)

"To copy tracks from an audio CD
Insert your CD into the CD-ROM drive.
Click Copy from CD.
All tracks are selected to copy if you have not previously copied them from the CD
If there are any tracks that you do not want to copy (rip), clear the check box next to them.
You can select the check box at the top of the list to clear or select the check boxes next to all tracks.

The problem is there is no option that says "Copy from CD." If there is, I'm not seeing it.

Heeeeeelp

Sand

Click Copy Music.

When I insert a CD in the drive, I am only given four options

* Play Audio CD using Windows Media Playe
* Play Audio CD using MusicMatch Jukebo
* Open Dolder to view files using Window Explore
* Take no actio

NONE say "Copy Music

Am I missing something? I want to copy a track and convert it to a MP3 or a wav file to be edited in Nero

Have a look in the MusicMatch help file- MusicMatch will rip that CD.
Launch it, click on Options|Recorder - Source, and select your CD-ROM drive.
Pop the music CD into that drive. Before you "rip" the CD, make note of
where MusicMatch is putting the ripped files- it's probably in My Documents
My Music by default (I haven't used it to rip for a while now.) Also,
decide on whether you want the tunes ripped to mp3 format or to wav format.
Wav format will give you the best audio quality by far, and Nero can burn
those wav files to an "AUDIO" CD no problem. But if you are short on hard
drive space you may want to rip to mp3.
