When the buring process reaches 62-65% using NERO, the burning process fails.
Any ideas?

Trying to burn more than the CD will hold? Check the total of MBs
you are trying to burn against the CDs you are using. I am not that
familiar with Nero for I use Roxio.

There are a multitude of possibilites if its not, as Byte says, a size
issue. However, Nero will tell you if the music is too big for the CD.Try
these :

1) burn at a lower speed (8 x instead of 16, etc)

2) defrag your HD before burning

3) if you have several HD's use your boot HD, ie C:\ etc as the burning
source

4) disable IMAPI Burning ROM in Services, you don't need it if only using
Nero (which doesn't like co-exisiting with WMP when its burning service is
active).

5) disable your antivirus and firewall before burning.

6) one of the tracks you are burning is corrupted

Re-post if none of the above works.

Cheers,
Jerry

Thanks

there should be plenty of room on the cd. I've burned many cd's before and
the condition that I'm now experiencing is new. I switched out the cd burner
but it didn't help.
