CD burning

Open Windows Explorer, right click your CD-Writer, select Properties, go to
the Recording tab, remove the check next to "Enable CD recording on this
drive," click apply and ok.
 
I guess I didn't make myself very clear Windows XP comes with cd burning
ability. I remember there was a setting some place to disable XP's ability
to burn. Anyone know where that option is?

The way to turn it off is exactly as I mentioned in my previous post.
