Sue Click to expand... ================================== Try the following on copies of your files... just to be sure the originals are still available if you need them. When you have the files in the order you like... rename them in a batch and add numbers. Birthday (1001).jpg Birthday (1002).jpg Birthday (1003).jpg How to? Go to...Edit / Select All... Right click the first file in the selected batch and choose Rename... Then type anyname (1001).jpg and press your Enter key...Windows should add the remaining numbers. -- John Inzer MS-MVP Digital Media Experience Notice This is not tech support I am a volunteer Solutions that work for me may not work for you Proceed at your own risk
