CD Burning

Hello all.

When trying to burn files to a CD I am told that there is not enough drive
space to store temporary files. I have set the CD drive properties to store
an "Image" to my IDE hard drive that has plenty of space.
My XPE configuration uses a EWF protected CF card with an additional IDE
hard drive for persistant data storage. Any ideas?

Assuming that you are using XPE's default IMAPI CD Burning, there is a
registry key that determines where the temp files are stored. .

The default location is:
C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\CD Burning

This is a per-user setting, so it appears in this registry key
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell
Folders]
"CD Burning"="Drive:\\Path"

You can use regedit (Start Run, Regedit, browse to above location) to
manually change this value for the current user and point it to a temp
folder on your IDE drive. This will not change it for all future
users, but hopefully is a step in the right direction.
