Andrew

i have a cd burner that came with my computer and windows
media player does no read it. I use Nero exspress to burn
things so i know its works. Is there any thing i can do
to Windows media player to burn cds?

XP built-in burner driver is based on Roxio technology that probably has been disabled by your Nero.

Hi,

Make sure the IMAPI Burning Service is enabled.

Visit the "Official" Windows Media Player Newsgroup:

Hope it helps.

No, it shouldn't be disabled by XP
I use Nero 5.5, InCD, Clone CD 4.2 and the native XP burning features without any problems
BTW, check for the ASPI drivers from adaptec.com
I have installed the ASPI drivers version 4.71.
