cd burner wont read blank cds

i used to be able to burn cds but all of a sudden my burner won't read blank
cds. what went wrong???
 
Can you try the burner in another PC. if it doesn't work in another PC then
it's stuffed.

If it's under warranty then take it back towhere you bought it for a
replacement
 
Before you go taking your PC apart, check response to post under yours,
"CD Burner won't recognize my disc". If no luck there, try rebooting your
PC with the burner drive empty, then reinsert a blank disk.
