cd burner when reading cds, they come out warm

why do my cds come out warm after just accessing files on them? i have
a cd burner from i/o magic, 52x32x32 this has noit been happining
except for the last few months. running win xp

maybe because it is warm inside your CD-ROM drive

Very normal to find them warm, even bordering on hot. CDs spin really
fast in the drive, they tend to generate a lot of heat. That's all
thats causing it.
