Call me old-fashioned, but I sure do miss the good old days when I
could put a bunch of songs into a folder , then when I wanted to burn
those songs, I could just click on the folder and open it, and I could
just click those songs out of the folder.

It drives me nuts to click on an artist, then an album, then a song.
And that's usually the way it goes even when I'm looking at different
songs from the same album. They still aren't linked in the software.

Are there any burners - (i'd even pay for it - but not a whole lot)
that allows the option of ignoring those frigging tags and just
letting me organize the files the way I want to??? I've paid for
accoustica, and the first version I had worked quite nicely, and I'd
love to get hold of it again....

thanks.

I'm not exactly sure what you are wanting in a burner. I've always burned
that way and haven't had a problem with software. I'm not sure what you
mean by tags since I just click on the songs I want in the order I want them
in from my folder. My favorite audio software is feurio which is nagware so
you may not want it. It only burns music cds but has one of the best
converters next to EAC. There are a lot of freeware recorders so there must

I still do.

that sounds more like the way the songs are organised on your HD than a
fault in the burning software - perhaps you mean your ripping/encoding
software stores the songs in this manner? in which case, you might want to
try reconfiguring or replacing it.
