CD BURNER HELP!!!

for some reason my CD Rom sais its not able to burn and
that it doesnt have that function. I know for a fact
that it does and it worked a week ago, but now it doesnt.
I despseratly need help!
 
goto My Computer,goto the cdrom drive and right click it
and go to properties then go to the recording tab and
click on it. There should be a check box that says Enable
cd recording on this drive.Has it got a green tick in it?
If it has or is shaded of you may have to reinstall your
cd burning program that came with the computer.

You right-clicked on the drive letter (in Windows Explorer), chose
PROPERTIES and clicked on the RECORD tab? Be sure that recording is enabled.
