I upgraded from 98 to XP Home.
When I try to save to my E Drive I get a message that
says it is not accessible.
I have tried to copy CD's using Media Player.
Media player automatically tries to copy music to the
F drive. When I try to change this to the E drive I get
a message saying that the administrator must make these
changes. All my users are set up as administrators.
I tried uninstalling the drivers for the CD Burner
and the restarting to allow XP to reinstall the drivers.
This did not help. Any advice on how I can fix this would
be great. My Wife and I are expecting a baby soon and I
would like to be able to save pictures to CD.
Thanks for the help.

.
I would check in your BIOS settings for this drive to be
sure it is enabled. Also you may need to flash an update
to your system BIOS, so that it has the recent version.

You don`t say which CD Burner software you have installed.
Nero? Easy CD? or built in software!
BTW, XP built in s/w does not allow direct saving to Cd, you must save
files to an temporary area, THEN burn files to CD via Explorer.
