cd burner bad software

I insttaled my cd burning software easy cd creator 4 on
win xp than found out it would not work. Now when I start
my computer I get a message that windows prevented
cdralw2k.sys and cdr4_2k.sys from loading as it would
have caused your computer to crash. My cd burner and dvd
still work fine but I keep getting the meassage. How do I
get rid of these files without damaging my computer?

Remove software via Add/Remove Programs. (See Roxio's web page
at http://www.roxio.com on manual removal).
Also, use D.Knox's CD/DVD fix on missing/corrupt CDROM drivers.

For XP you need Easy CD 5 or 6.

Also, you will need to install the XP patch for Easy CD 5. Easy CD 6 retail
kit is out of the box ready for XP.
