I have a P4 2.26, Intel 850E motherboard with 512mb rambus mem, 2 ea Promise
controllers a 120g WD, 160g WD, 2 ea 80g WD, 30g maxtor USB, DVD, CD-RW,
DVD-RW runnung Win XP Pro. Most devices are master on their own IDE channel.
I believe the DVD is slaved off of system drive.

Initially, I was able to burn CD's and surf, run apps, etc. Somewhere in
adding the drives, I can't do anything when burning, as CPU usage is close
to 100%.

What should I look for to correct this. DMA is enabled on all compatible
drives.

Thanks,
Mike
