WHY does CD burning work (with XP!) and not DVD burning ???
I normally copy data to my DVD burning drive and paste it there. Then I
select `burn these files to disc`. )It is then a CD disc!
The DVD drive burns it without problems.
BUT when I insert a DVD disc, it doesn´t recognize it (DVDR or DVDRW). It
just keeps saying insert a CDR or CD CDWR. (why doesn´t it say DVD R or
DVDWR?)
I hear ppl say I should get NERO software, but I disagree.
Windows XP uses ROXIO software (!no need for Nero!) to burn CDs so it SHOULD
burn DVDs too! Or is it possible that the Roxio sofware in Windows XP (tm)
is OBSOLETE and doesn´t support DVD burning???
If that is the case, then Microsoft should rapidly UPDATE the ROXIO burning
software to enable DVD burning!
