first off hi, not 100% sure im in the right section,
Recently the main office i work in can no longer view the CCTV at 1 of the shops we also own.
I have very little real knowledge of of how we were remote viewing the CCTV and in CCTV in general.
So just wondering if someone can run by me the most common way a CCTV system would be viewed from another location, ie ran on a server or hosted on the pc?
Also if anyone has any clue whatsoever why remote viewing is no longer working.
The cctv is viewing in the shop on the shops PC but comes up with the error message "search record data error, unspecified"
We also have CCTV down at our warehouse but is accessible from the office.
I been down the shop and everything seems to be in working order, also the workers down at the shop are pretty much anti technology and haven't touched any of the hardware in months.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
