Hello,
somebody say that we may use ccleaner to clear our machine but
this program (and the facilities from IE also) clear not all the previous
url from the history. Some urls still remain.
I will not use Right click internet
explorer\properties\content\autocomplete\uncheck web addresses box, because
this will no longer save to the address bar and i will but sometimes a
cleanup is good.
is it a bug in the two program ?

Best place to ask your question is the CCleaner forum:

Hi Engel,

did you try it yourself ?????????????
A very dangerous program!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Must go back with system restore to get many programs running again!!!!!
And i did not use the setting you suggested, but less!
Don't use this program!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Use Crap Cleaner, thats safe!!!!

Hi again,

Tom read what Evan have to said about Cleanup here:

Castlecops sugest the use
http://wiki.castlecops.com/Malware_Removal_and_Prevention:_Overview

Like I said, I use the program before, but a decide o use and suggest to use
CCleaner because is faster.

I don't know what happen in your case, but so far the few times I use
Cleanup I don't have any complaints. But I'm going to keep in mind your bad
experience.

Cheers.

How is the weather now in Amsterdam, here in the West coast is OK. (more
warm than cold)

Hello

ok i try this forum but somebody on this forum (msas) say we may use
ccleaner and i ask if you have the same as me
thanks

Hello Engel,

i start the program in the default settings then after reboot all my
Adobe program's wont start and Trend Antispyware wont start again and
ask for a new install. I found that very strange and saw him delete some
*.EXE programs on my D:\ drive.
I just try to go to the link in your mail but even after a system
restore firefox wont open! So i think i have to repair some more!!!
So no Cleanup 4.0 for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And i am not the only won read this!

Hi Tom,

Here is the answer from Evan:

Thanks for the info. I followed the Castlecops "Malware Removal and
Prevention: Overview" and (knock on wood) my system is back to norma and will
stay that wayl!!!!! What a relief after 2 days of trying to get things
cleaned myself. I was shocked that when I ran "Cleanup!" the program deleted
1.2 GB of files! Anyway, many thanks - you've been very helpful.
