I have a report with a subreport in the detail section. I
want this detail section to be a static size, and if the
data in the subreport is too big for the size specified,
to continue on a new page within the same boundaries as
the first page (so that my report headers / footers are
around it again).

Hi.
You did not give may details to work with, but I'll try.
You could do this by putting the subreport in the page
footer rather than in the detail section. You may have to
make sure that the can grow and can shrink properties are
set to no.
Hope this helps. And Happy Easter

Use the page header and footer instead of the report header and footer. the subform will be the only control in the detail section. I use this method for checks, invoices and shipping papers. You can even have the report show that it is continued on the next page
