Causing emulation software printing to not work

R

Reynolds Emulation

I have an emulation package that is used for a legacy
system for our customer base. When the software is
loaded it causes an error when our users try to print.
The emulation software spools the file to the system and
then calls a small VB exe to take the file and spool it
to the printer. The emulation software for some reason
is having issues spooling the file down to the PC. When
the user un-installs the antispyware software the
printing issue goes away. Has anybody else experienced
this issue?

There's a vendor resolution form at the end of this KB article:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/892340 Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware (Beta)
identifies a program as a spyware threat (Listing criteria and Dispute
process)

which may enable you to bring this issue directly to Microsoft's attention.
Much of the form isn't relevant to your issue, but this may open
communication for you--I'm not certain/
