Hello. Lately, my browser (Firefox) is driving me batty. When I click
on a link, the progress bar at the bottom right sits there, white, for
10-15 seconds before anythign happens. Then the progress bar zips
across and I go to the linked page.

I used to have snappy performance, not this hesitation.

Where would I look for solutions? Is it a problem with the servers at
this university? Is it a problem in my computer (not enought RAM - 2
gigs no other apps running), is the whole internet like this now?

Any pointers to get me started back to sanity would be so much
appreciated!

Thanks.....
Sarah

Not really enough specifics to give you focused answers so start here:

The First Question Of Troubleshooting: what changed between the time things
worked and the time they didn't?

The Second Question of Windows Troubleshooting: what is the malware/virus
status of the machine? If you think it is clean, what programs (and
versions) did you use to determine this?

Be sure the computer is clean:

In cases of problems with the Internet like yours, start with The Second
Question first.
