Hi

I have got a number of public folders setup for storing contacts called
north, east, south, west. The reason for more than one public folder with
them all in is security. Only salespeople in the south can look at south and
not the other folders. That's fine. But I want to be able to see all of
their folders which I can do because I have permissions granted to me. The
folders also have categories setup against the contacts. Is it possible for
me to retireve all the contacts with a category of "Xmas Card" against them,
but for all 4 folders? I don't want to have to do it for each one. I
downloaded a plug in called lookout which lets me search multiple folders for
categories but once they are displayed on the screen I can't do anything with
them, like mailmerge for example. Pls help. I'm using v2000.

Thanks

Anita

If you want to do a single mail merge with those contacts, you'll need to consolidate them into one list, either by copying them into one folder or by exporting them to some other file format and then consolidating those files.
