I upgraded to a new version of Outlook (2003, SP2). Contacts do not show
Categories on the form or in the Edit tab. How can I view and select
Categories in my contacts?

Hi Russ,

In my previous version of Outlook, each contact had a drop-down or button
for "Categories." This button or whatever the name for the link, allowed me
to select categories for the contact while creating the new contact. Now I
must be in category view and right-click to obtain the list of categories to
select from.

I did not find the information to restore this "button" in my contacts in
the link you provided.

Thank you,
Dale H.

That part did not change in Outlook 2003. The categories button is still
there and works the same.
Are you saying you have no Categories button or that it doesn't bring up
your default Contacts? If so, state how you migrated data and settings when
you upgraded.

Sometimes the correct answer is the simplest--can you see me blush?

Thanks!
