I am trying to load the latest catylist video drivers for my ATI 9800 pro,
but find that the computer, a P4P800 delux, is now just rebooting XP Pro
over and over.... this has never happened before on any other video driver
upgrade. Are these driver files flakey, or what am I doing wrong now that I
didn't do before?

I have no idea what steps you took or didn't take in the driver update. So
I'll ask. Did you boot to safe mode and uninstall the previous driver first?
Do you overclock? If so try setting the bios to defaults, safe mode
uninstall, install the new driver and see if it boots then. I have found in
the past, that after installing a new video driver I was unable to o/c as
much as I had been.
