Catalog process available in Backup?

I have a tape made by Backup several years ago and would like to restore it
to a different PC than the one it was made on. In fact the one it was made
on is no longer available. The restore process appears to only handle stuff
that's in the catalog. Is there a way I can catalog the tape in order to do
a restore?

Yes.

1. Start NTBackup.
2. If Wizard Mode is enabled, press Advanced mode.
3. Select the Restore and Manage Media tab.
4 Use the Tools menu to Cataloag a backup.....
