I'm not a big fan of Omegas, I would sooner stick with the official drivers.Glitch said:Is it that noticeable ?
Since I also have 9700Pro I might as well try the Omega ones

I'm using the official CCC 5.12's and when it first loaded after theGlitch said:They usually give me better fps (not by a big margin) but there is one
problem with them that I'm having with each and every build
Every time I use omega's drivers my computer starts up slower ,when I
enter my windows account the start menu is unusable for a biger period
of time and the hard drive is more active at startup !
Guess I'll just try the official Cats this time around (I'm curently at
5.11)

that no problems.
Neon said:I'm running 5.12's, CP only version (CCC scares me). Runnning fine. I
picked up a smidge of performance in 3Dmark05.
I don't actually notice it in games - no change at all, but more
importantly, no problems. Running an X800 Pro. My x1800xt arrives
tomorrow, along with my 4000+ San Diego processor, MB, etc.
