Hi,

Any idea what "CASWMD" message box is??

Have searched Technet & MSKB with no luck.

I'm with you . . . saw same thing . . . !

Nobody seems to know what this is ~ Can't find it in my registry . . .

Pops up fast, about 3 lines under heading of CASWMD ~ first line "System
ready." Haven't caught others yet ~ all my MVP friends don't have a clue.

Try using RegMon with CASWMD as its input filter?
RegMon displays strings which are stored as binary values
which RegEdit can't find.
