Hi group,
I have a Casio camera and when I
transfer my pics to the computer they have the ending of *.cam
not useful at all with any other software.
Is there a way, software to safe the pictures as a jpg or gif file?

Thanks for any help, Rolf.

You can try this
If you drag and drop a image on to IrfanView.
Then IrfanView tell you that the image has the
wrong file extension and ask you if it should
rename the extension to the right one.

If you the image loads and shows up in IrfanView
without any questions from IrfanView then you can
click on the "Image Information" icon or use the
keyboard shortcut "I" to see what kind of image format
the image is.

In XnView you can use "Ctrl+E" to get the
Image information (properties)

You could try IrfanView, it can read Casio Camera Files...

Rolf, have a look at cam2pc, nice little program. Choose the freeware
edition. Look first at the list of cameras reported to be compatible with
cam2pc...many Casio models there, perhaps yours?
