Hi There,

I have installed Spywareguard, Spywareblaster and
Microsoft Antispyware. All 3 are up-to-date.

I just submitted Webroot Spyware blaster and for the
second time within a week if found the Casino Toolbar in
my Registry :-\

I was wondering if it will be possible to include a
protection against this toolbar in the Microsoft
AntiSpyware?

Thanks in advance!

Ellen

Hi Bill,

I tried too, but I am getting error stating something about my Internet
Proxy...
I am not sure what or where to check... ~Rolling eyes~

Don't roll them too hard--the most likely cause is a bug in the program, as
far as I can see. If you have a software firewall that needs to give
permission for other programs to communicate outbound, you need to do
that--see help for Microsoft Antispyware--search on firewall. Otherwise, I
don't have a workaround for you, and believe that this is a bug. The
facility does work for some installs, including most, but not all, of the
ones I've tested it on. However, I believe it has NEVER worked for anyone
I've asked to do it in this newsgroup--which must prove something, but I
don't know what!

Hi Bill,

I have Norton Internet Security running and I am using
it's firewall.

I found two records in the configuration section of the
firewall with the logo of the Microsoft AntiSpyware and
both stated to permit, not blocked...

In the mean-time I have removed the trial version of
Webroot SpySweeper, which came to me as part of a
different program. I expect that Casino Bar was included
somehow in that trial version... Donno...

Thanks for your reply!
Ellen

Submit a Tools, suspected spyware report and mention the
