I am building a unit that will be used only for storage storage, perhaps
up to 1T or more, so it would hold at least 4 drives. Who makes sturdy
cases with no bare edges to cut my hands, with lots of bays and good
ventilation? (No bling here--no lights, clear sides, no chrome or mag
wheels....). I have used Antec and In-Win cases in the past.

Are they still good units? Any other recommedations?

Thanks

Yep.

I prefer very quiet systems with just very quiet power supplys
and cpu fans myself. The best way to do that sort of net storage
is to leave a spare slot between each drive. I havent noticed any
decently priced cases that allow say 10-12 internal 3.5" bays,
so I plan to make my own, using a couple of 3.5" drive bays cages,
one out of an old obsolete case, pop rivetted onto the one that
comes with the case.

Thanks for your input. What power supply manufacturers do you recommend?
