Cartridge Storage Question

Dave C.

I have nearly new color and black cartridges that I can use in my printer.
They were removed from a recently defunct printer. What is the best way to
store them until I need them? Maybe in a zip lock bag, cover the nozzles
with saran wrap, or other method. These are HP C1823A CYM, and 51645a
black.

Thanks

I suggest you: wrap them in cling film plastic, place them in a zip lock
plastic bag then store them in the refrigerator. But ensure they don't
freeze.

Thanks, it sounds like that would work OK. I figure my present black
cartridge will run out in about a month.

Don't let the plastic touch the printheads or you might end up with cross
contamination between color chambers due to capillary action.
