Here are four different varieties of Pitcher Plants. They are carnivorous, trapping insects and then slowly dissolving and absorbing them. They were all found in an area of 20x20 metres. One had an insect clearly visible inside it.

Were these in the wild in the UK?

No, I found them in Sarawak, Borneo when I was there a couple of weeks back. All sorts of interesting flora and fauna which we don't see in the UK to be found.:thumb:
