More to the point, it's now Javaware (yuck).
1. Download the latest JRE from Sun.
2. It works, but it still runs like a tortoise on Modagon.

If only all Windoze software was written in assemby.... No .NET framework,
no JRE, no VB runtime files... Hang on a minute, can't have that, then
Wintel wouldn't be shipping shedloads of Pentium99. :)

That is my opinion of it, but I am sure Paul cannot please us all. It
is still a good piece of software, but not for me.

Well, maybe not assembly unless you want things to slow to a grinding
halt :)
But a "back to good ol' solid C/C++" might be a good forward step
backwards... or is that a backward step forwards. ???

Eh! In my experience, programs written in assembly run like sh*t off a
shovel.
Fast as hell. Am I missing something here - or have I committed a faux-pas?

Heh. Sorry, very poorly expressed on my part. I meant that development
efforts would slow down considerably, due to the laborious tedium of
writing and maintaining in assembly language. But no argument about the
sh*t off a hot shovel performance.

I used it up till it went Java...then it turned into a slow, nasty,
resource hog...
