The issue isn't "fast enough", but it should be able to run it, as a
general rule (there are issues other than the chip that could keep it
from working, but while it's possible that the video card maker screwed
things up, it's not likely). I'm running Vista with Aero on some
systems with X1300 based video, and on laptops with Intel GMA950 chipset
video. The requirements for Aero really are not that tough, although no
argument that there are plenty of video cards out there that won't run it.
