I have a Dazzle unit on my XP machine, which requires a USB connection. The program works fine but it does'nt capture the images nor does it seem to regonize the program. Everything works; cord, flashcard, memory stick - everything but th
kitchen sink. I would like to know if I need to do more with the system of my motherboard or the BIOS within the system. Question: how do I get this to work, without re-installing XP?

Without knowing the specs of your system it's hard to tell whether you need
a better motherboard, more RAM, better CPU etc!

I presume we're talking analog video here?

What program are you using to capture video? Movie maker?
Analog/dv camcorder? How are you connecting the camcorder
to Dazzle? s-video? RCA?
If you are, I doubt that your problem is the motherboard
or any hardware. Most problems I have had are with
Micro's Movie MAker. It is not the best(nor a bug free)
product for movies. If you check the knowledgebase you
will find a lot of problems that have some work arounds.
