Hi Dale
You might try the following. File > Print. In the printer Name box,
choose Generic / Text only (or if that doesn't exist, install a
text-only printer). Tick the Print to File box. In the Print what box,
choose Styles. Click OK to "print" to a file. Word will prompt you for
the name of a file and will "print" to that file name. Since you chose a
generic or text printer only, it will just print the text (and won't
include any instructions to the printer). You can then open that
document in Word and make any necessary changes to layout or formatting.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, all, for showing me how to print the styles within a document
(see 11/7 exchange titled "List of all Styles used and their
specifications in XP). This gave what I want in terms of the styles;
however, I want to capture this information into a separate Word
document for on-line reference purposes. How do I do that? Thanks.
