I am hoping someone can help me. I recently upgraded my computer to Windows XP. The computer has been totally reformatted and I set up all the software. I have a TDK DVD burner and hope to be able to transfer my videos to DVD's. The burner came with software Roxio Easy DVD creator 6.0. I also purchased a TDK INDI Capture device which came with software called Show Biz. The Capture device which required a USB 2.0 port. I purchased a USB 2.0 port and installed it. I installed the Driver that came with the Capture device. Connected everything up and the Device Manager signals all is ok. I downloaded updates for Show Biz. Now I thought I could pop in a video......click on Capture in the Show Biz program and then start capturing. Once I clicked on Capture I received a message that Show Biz encountered a problem and had to close. Everytime I made an adjustment to the cords and connections it got worse, to the point that the system was going into crash mode. I tried deleting the USB driver and reinstalled. I am at a loss for what the problem is.....since I can capture via firewire to the software I think the main problem is something to do with the USB 2.0.
My system is a rebuilt Dell...Pentium III 450 MHZ. I have a new hard drive partitioned with 60 GB a piece so I don't think it is a memory or space issue.
Thanks for any inf
